Another end of another successful, busy week for the children of Seagulls Class!
In Maths, we are working towards ending our focus on place value and will begin to focus on becoming much more confident with methods for all four operations. Parents may find the Maths Workshop in the coming weeks handy to help their children with this area.
In English, our work on the text ‘The Unforgotten Coat’ has officially finished and the children will begin their new text on Monday with a particular ‘hook’ to interest the children! Watch this space!
Quote of the week from one of a group of boys reading on the playground: ‘Reading is so fun!’- Jack
Our week has also involved us being scientists, artists and geographers- oh and we thoroughly enjoyed our French breakfast with Madam Mazou!
Merci! Profiter du week-end!
